All Saints’ comeback marginally less successful than Take That’s

All Saints’ comeback has ground to a somewhat sudden halt with the news that they have been dropped by their record label, Parlophone. After one actually-kind-of-funky hit single from the newest album, Rock Steady, their album failed to sell well and their second single hasn’t even reached the top 200 in the UK! This in the same week that Take That get their second number one single from their comeback album.

I’m the exact age to remember the Spice Girls v All Saints rivalry in the 90s. Yeah, the Space Girls were way less than perfect…but they knew it. All Saints were always too smug for their own good.

I want that one…

As fantastic a soap opera as Neighbours is (and the only one I will proudly admit to watching), don’t they have really random guest stars? Apparently David Walliams and Matt Lucas, stars of Little Britain, will feature in an upcoming episode that is due to air in this country later this year. Okay, that’s not so strange, until you consider that they’ll actually be in character as Andy and Lou. Huh?

Elizabeth Hurley weds in front of every celebrity except Hugh Grant

The most eagerly anticipated wedding of, er, every other wedding that took place on 3rd March went ahead without a hitch – Elizabeth Hurley finally married Indian businessman Arun Nayer after about 50 years of dating. Hugh Grant not in attendence, but Elton John did turn up in a purple helicopter so I’m sure that more than made up for things.

Apparently the wedding party has now moved on to India for the second leg of festivities.
